Always order from the same dye lot — tile colors vary between lots. Add 10% waste for straight patterns and 15–20% for diagonal or complex layouts. For natural stone, add 15% minimum due to breakage and variation.
Keep 5–10 extra tiles after installation in case of future cracking or chipping. Matching tiles after a project closes can be nearly impossible if the line is discontinued.
